Our welcome package includes, an orientation to life in Japan and valuable information regarding alien registration, health insurance and opening a bank account.

1. Orientation to Japanese Life

Our package includes a practical orientation on Japanese daily life and customs. Its purpose is to provide you with basic everyday life skills and cultural awareness for you to adjust to your new life in Japan.


　

  1. Hosting orientation session. (Topics include: in case of emergency, utilities, transportation, Japanese culture, etiquette, etc.)
  2. Orientation session in your local area.

2. Alien Registration / National Health Insurance

We can provide staff to assist you at the government office when applying for alien registration and health insurance.


　

  1. Preparation of documents for alien registration and health insurance.
  2. Attendance by support staff at office during application process.
  3. Assigning insurance company for accident insurance, medical insurance and other insurance services.

3. Financial Facilities

We can assist you to open a bank account for bill payments, direct deposit, and credit card application.


　

  1. Attendance by support staff at the bank to open or close your account.
  2. Preparation of documents for applications.
  3. Provide assistance for credit card and bank card application.
  4. Attendance by support staff at bank or post office for various formalities.
  • Free personal seal offered. (This applies to members who make an appointment for attendant service a couple of weeks in advance.)

4. Cell Phone

If you need a cellular phone, we will find a reputable cellular company and assist you with the registration and termination process.


　

  1. Attendance by support staff at the cellular dealer.
  2. Assistance with service contract and cancellation with cell phone company.
  3. Arrange for a bank to setup pre-authorized cell phone payments.
